Eight substrate
families, engineered separately.
Each substrate gets its own pre-treatment and primer combination. We solve adhesion at the surface instead of papering over it with more coating.
Metal
Epoxy primers and PU top-coats for sheet metal and fabricated parts: gates, railings, machinery components and metal structures. We choose epoxy at the primer stage specifically for corrosion resistance and adhesion on bare metal, with a PU topcoat over it for durability and finish.
Brass
Finishes for brassware, silverware, door hardware and locks. Brass and plated hardware need a finish that survives handling and, in the case of door fittings, repeated use. DPI supplies finishing for hardware manufacturers, including door-plate and lock-fitting production.
Plastic
PP/PET primers and PU base and top coats, including soft-touch finishes for mobile back covers. Plastic substrates (ABS, PP, PC, Nylon, Polyester, PET, HIPS) each need a primer matched to the specific resin. Generic primers on plastic commonly fail at the adhesion stage, not the topcoat stage.
Glass
DPI Glass Coat: a pigmented, transparent or clear topcoat for float glass and glass articles. Used for mirror-back paint, frost-look windows, shower doors and decorative glass, including coloured transparent finishes matched to a customer reference shade.
Rubber
Flexi Coat: flexible coatings for rubber sheets, belts and footwear soles. A rigid coating cracks on a flexible substrate, so rubber applications need a chemistry that flexes with the material rather than one optimised purely for hardness.
Wood
DPI Wudfeel exterior and interior wood finishes: PU, melamine and N.C. types. Exterior finishes are formulated for UV and moisture resistance (decks, fences, outdoor furniture). Interior finishes prioritise scratch resistance and a glossy or matt look (furniture, cabinetry).
Ceramic
DPI Cera Coat: a dishwasher-resistant clear topcoat for tiles, mugs and ceramic ware. Ceramic products that go through repeated washing need a topcoat that survives detergent and heat cycling without dulling or lifting.
Marble
DPI Marble Coat: OEM finish, floor-coating repair, and coatings for idols and marble-dust toys. A highly glazed transparent finish protects marble surfaces (countertops, flooring, temple structures) without masking the natural material underneath.
